Since Final Fantasy XIV's End walker Early Access, started the servers were flooded. The servers were so full that players get the error 2002 while waiting in queue for logging. This can be quite annoying as you have to see this error, close your game and run the risk of losing your place in the queue. This can mean one hour wait time because the queues are about 4,000 players normally long, in order to log in Final Fantasy XIV. What is error 2002?

When you log on during prime time, this error may occur when you try to connect to your data center. The error is caused by overloading the server. According to a post by Square Enix, a single data center can manage only about 17,000 players trying to connect simultaneously. If this limit is exceeded, the server disconnects random player. This is why you can be thrown at random from the queue when you are about to be logged into the game. The alleged solution to this error is to increase the number of players who at any time can be edited to 21,000.

How to fix error 2002?

Allegedly implemented Square Enix a fix on 7 at night, when the players are lower. However, with the sheer amount of players who come to Final Fantasy XIV, the problem may persist after this fix. If you receive this error, restart your game the best just new. Since the error was caused without any fault, a simple reboot should fix it. You can check whether the data centers have not failed if you get the error 2002 repeated, but you should get another error when the servers are down.

If you are in the queue and get Error 2002, you were lucky to have about five minutes to complete the game to restart and return to your place in the queue. You can even go during the relaunch queued up because a placeholder is used for your place and can move anyway forward. Just make sure that keeping your game in mind while you're waiting in the queue. If you take too long, you lose your place and the entire queue have to start over.
