Netflix: BioShock Live-Action
Netflix and Take Two Interactive have announced a movie to Bioshock. The live action movie is produced for the streaming provider of Vertigo Entertainment and 2K. For Take-Two, a long journey finally leads to the goal. Because in 2008, a first attempt was made to bring the Bioshock brand to the big screen. At that time, Gore Verbinski (Pirates of the Caribbean) should produce a film about the underwater town of Rapture, but failed a year later because Universal Pictures had concerns about the budget. His successor, Juan Carlos Fresnadillo, left the project as well, because you could not agree on the budget. Take Two CEO Strauss Zelnick said in the context of Netflix's announcement that Cloud Chamber is deep in the development of the next Bioshock game.
